Nortesur is a new publishing house created with the aim of recovering “classic” works which have been neglected or have never previously translated into Spanish, and at the same time providing an incentive for the publication of new books of outstanding quality and maximum interest to scholars and all those who enjoy good literature. Musikeon collaborates with Nortesur on various collections, particularly the essay series and its paperback collection, but above all on a collection specifically devoted to music, which includes, on the one hand, historical documents not previously published in Spanish and, on the other hand, a select number of recent studies on performance, composition and musical aesthetics. A new initiative from Musikeon, aimed both at researchers and the wider public who wish to gain a deeper knowledge of the music they love.
