Musikeon regularly offers at its centre in Valencia training and refresher courses aimed at music teachers wishing to integrate their training and incorporate new methods in their professional activity. Scheduled at weekends, the courses are compatible with commitments both personal and professional. They fall into various different categories:

• Piano classes: practical instrumental classes taught by teachers of recognized prestige, specifically aimed at subsequent teaching activity (enrolment all year round).

• Courses in teaching methodology (Institute of Musical Education methods): monographic courses designed to familiarize the trainees with the methodology of the “Emilio Molina” Institute of Musical Education and the materials published by Enclave Creativa Ediciones.

• Monographic courses on the stylistic, aesthetic, methodological and technical aspects of the repertoire and its performance.

Every year, the various Spanish Autonomous Communities offer grants and bursaries to many of the students who enrol in our courses.

Under the agreement signed in 2004 between Musikeon and the Generalitat of Valencia, these courses are recognized by the Valencian Ministry of Education as “Teacher Training Courses”.
